Still life

In Commercial Photography, we shoot a lot of still life & product. To be honest with you guys, sometimes still life is much more difficult to shoot than shooting people. 1st of all, it is very boring; 2nd of all, you need to have lots of patient to set the lighting & backdrop/background set up. In Photography, the simplest thing is the hardest thing to shoot..Alright, let's cut the crab and see some of my artwork images..

Yes! It is a bike, a Yamaha bike shot! Well I shoot uncountable Yamaha bike in the past 8 years, I don't need to show too many of it, 2 of it will be good enough to show and tell that it takes a lot of time to cover all the reflections and light up all the details...Ohh yes, I need to thank my all time Yamaha assistant Fei Hong to always be patient with me and help me for setting up the lighting for the bike shoot...Just a little secret to share, Fei Hong and I have very good "heart-connection" which I don't have to tell him exactly what I need and he already do what I want hahah! We are good partners and definitely like girls ;p

You know what? I don't realy like this shoot because it took us around 1 and half DAY just to finish this simple packaging shoot as our lovely client want it to look perfect!!!


If I'm not mistaken, this is for MAS Malaysia Airline's F&B menu shoot.

Guess what is this, it is a seed. I shoot it for FAMA's Calendar, it is so small and I have to light up perfectly to show every details of this precious seeds...

Oh right, if you think this is a milk packaging or healthy fruit juice...You are wrong!! Don't get confuse my friend, it is Care condom packaging, a limited edition from Care condom product. Nice idea Joey! ;)

Hmmm...nice shoot! Take a look carefully, this is not a landscape shoot; as u can see the tree is made of forks and the train it's just a toy train from toy store. The snow is done by a P&C software :p
